The Women's Holiday Centre -  a rare women - only space set in a beautiful Old Vicarage at the foot of the Pennine Way. Set up in 1980 as a charity The Holiday Centre is run by a Women's co-operative to provide holidays for women (and children) on moderate to limited means. Price per night is on a sliding scale depending on income.
The house is meat free on a self-catering basis. A wide variety of vegetarian & vegan food is available which is included in the cost of your stay. The house is available for short break or holidays, individually, with friends or as a women's group organisation. Large groups can make a 'closed house' booking. The house makes an ideal place for a social gathering, holding skill-sharing workshops, training days or short courses.
